Type your spend, impressions and clicks. Get CPM, CPC and CTR at once, plus what the same budget buys at your current rates.

CPM Calculator is a free tool from Addy, an AI agent that makes portrait video ads for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. It runs in the browser on the HTML page; this markdown version describes it.

## Why people use it

- **Three metrics in one.** CPM, CPC and CTR are linked: CPC is CPM divided by CTR times 1,000. Seeing them together shows which one to fix.
- **Plan the next budget.** Enter a budget and see the impressions and clicks it should buy at today's rates.
- **Private.** It runs in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent.

## How it works

1. **Copy three numbers.** Amount spent, impressions and link clicks from Ads Manager or TikTok Ads.
2. **Read the rates.** CPM is the price of attention, CTR is how well the ad converts attention into clicks.
3. **Fix the weak one.** High CPM with good CTR: widen the audience. Low CTR: test new hooks and a clearer call to action.

## Questions

### How do you calculate CPM?

Divide ad spend by impressions and multiply by 1,000. $500 for 62,500 impressions is a CPM of $8.

### How do CPM, CPC and CTR relate?

CPC equals CPM divided by (CTR × 1,000). At a $10 CPM and 1% CTR, each click costs $1. Raising CTR lowers CPC as much as a cheaper CPM does.

### What is a good CPM for Reels or TikTok ads?

It varies a lot by country, audience and season, and rises in Q4. Compare against your own account's history rather than a universal benchmark.

### Which CTR should I use?

Link CTR (clicks to your site) rather than all clicks, which also counts likes, profile taps and expands.
