Your face in your ads
Put your own face
in AI video ads.
One selfie. Every talking ad opens on you, in your setting, saying the script Addy wrote for your product. No filming, no camera, no retakes.
Prefer not to be on camera? Pick one of the AI actors.
How it works
One upload, then it is just another creator you can pick for any campaign.
- 1
Upload one clear selfie
Front-facing, good light, nothing covering your face. Phone photos are fine. Takes 10 seconds.
- 2
It becomes your creator
Addy saves it as a creator in your workspace, next to the ready-made actors. Pick it for any campaign.
- 3
Every talking ad starts on you
Your photo is the first frame of each UGC, podcast, review and talking-head render, so the person on screen is you.
- 4
Approve before anything renders
You see every script before it is made, and nothing is posted until you say so.
Photo tips
The first frame is your photo, so the photo decides how much the ad looks like you.
Face the camera
Straight on or a slight angle. Profiles and looking away make the first frame less like you.
Soft, even light
Daylight from a window beats overhead lamps. Avoid hard shadows across the face.
Plain background, waist up
A simple background and your shoulders in frame give the video room to move naturally.
No sunglasses, hats or filters
Beauty filters and heavy edits are the fastest way to get a video that looks like someone else.
Wear what you would film in
The outfit in the photo is the outfit in the ad. Pick one that matches your brand.
One person, in focus
Group photos and blurry crops will not work. Use a sharp photo of just you.
Consent and privacy.
The short version.
- Only upload a photo of yourself, or of someone who has given you written permission to make videos with their face.
- No public figures, no customers, no competitors' founders, no one under 18.
- You can delete the photo and every creator built from it at any time from the app; deleting your account removes everything.
- Ads made with a real person's likeness should say what the person would stand behind. You are responsible for the claims in your ads.
Your photo lives with your workspace's other uploads in Firebase Storage on Google Cloud. It is used as the first frame of your renders and nowhere else: not in the public actor library, not to train models. Full details in the privacy policy.
Questions
+Does my photo train an AI model?
No. Your photo is used as the first frame of your own renders and nowhere else. Addy does not use your uploads or brand data to train models, and our AI providers do not either (see the privacy policy).
+Who can see my photo?
Only your workspace. It is stored with your workspace's other uploads in Firebase Storage on Google Cloud and is never shown in the public actor library.
+Will the video actually look like me?
The first frame is your photo, so the ad opens on you. Motion is generated from there, so a sharp, well-lit, front-facing photo gives the closest match. Approve the render before posting; failed renders are refunded automatically.
+Can I upload a photo of a friend, employee or customer?
Only with their written permission, and never anyone under 18. For most teams the clean option is to use the founder or a team member who has agreed, or to pick one of the ready-made AI actors instead.
+Can I use my face in only some ads?
Yes. Your face is a creator you pick per campaign. Use it for founder-style talking ads and switch to an AI actor or a cartoon format for the rest.
Be the face of your brand.
