Completion rate is the share of video plays that reached the end of the video.

Formula

Completion rate = plays to 100% ÷ video plays × 100

Short ads finish more often, which is one reason 15-second ads are popular for Reels and TikTok. A high completion rate on a short ad says little on its own; pair it with click-through rate to see whether people acted after watching.
