Creative testing
Also called: ad creative testing
Creative testing is running several versions of an ad with the same budget and audience to find which one performs best.
Good tests change one thing at a time, usually the hook, so you know what caused the difference. Each version needs enough spend to judge; a common rule of thumb is to let each ad spend at least one to two times your target CPA before calling it. Winners are then scaled and used as the base for the next round of variations.
